Those chaps at thefoodpeople have researched across the globe to work out who the kings of cuisine are, using a diverse range of specialists in the food sector. In an industry with a turnover of more than £39 million per year, it’s certainly very interesting to see who the top movers and shakers are, what the most popular dishes have been and how social media is affecting traditional kitchens.
Carly’s family are Spanish, so when we told her and her fiance, Daniel, that our sous chef Simon had spent a year cooking in Barcelona, we knew that we had made a perfect menu match, we just hoped that our tapas was up to scratch! Continue reading
Ian and Jamie recently took Daniel, our apprentice chef, to the JSW restaurant in Petersfield as a well done for successfully completing his first year with Jacaranda. Whilst obviously it’s nice to show our appreciation for our staff, the chefs really enjoy visiting special places like JSW in order to know what’s cooking in the best restaurants in our region.
